I @#%&*@ Hate them. I hate navigating thru a site, following a link to yet another, and having no ability to backup one page with my browser. Try changing the browser window size while a page with frames is loading. They suck! I've just registered my domain (dhunter.com) and I can't wait to place links to the I.H.F.C. site when it's up and running.

I am glad to have found a group of smart frame haters as well. I gag. You know the funniest thing? The worst pages on the web are quite often the pages designed by people who claim to be web designers. For fun, go to any ISP list of customers pages and check all the sites for web designers. At least half - or 80% will be ugly ugly ugly frame based yech pages... trying to show off their expertise (grin). Your logo and links are on my page one.

Frames are the root of much evil. Not only do they wreak havoc with the functionality of the "Back" button of your browser, and split your browser window into n parts, where n can be high. If you should venture to stray into a website with frames, your and keys start to behave erratically: if the webpage you stray into from the "framed" is a page without frames the keys work as expected on the shrunken page. But if it is also a page w/frames, they are disabled, and you MUST browse that page by moving the scroll box with the mouse! Aargh! Frames have no useful purpose - cursed be their existence!

FRAMES SUCK! I feel like I have found a new family!!!! Everywhere I go, I see these damn frames, and I wonder why (1) anyone would put these obnoxious, ridiculous things on their web page, (2) who in the hell came up with the idea to make such a "feature" possible, and (3) why in the hell they felt compelled to actually sit down and make up computer language to make these things available to an unsuspecting public. Yes, folks, I will PROUDLY display my I HATE FRAMES logo, and will give y'all all the publicity that I possibly can in my little corner of the web. Thanks for listening to me vent. Best wishes!

I put a survey on my page asking how I should reformat it during the next perpetual redesign. Thank God, only 7 people suggested Frames (and 6 said the page sucked anyway). I think that if the Framers had voted en masse, I would have change to a Haiti-style survey; stuff the ballot box and execute the dissenters.

I like considerarte people that give me a choice frames ...no frames. Don't force me to suffer your idea of coolness! Ever notice that it seems as if only people who *don't* know how to target frames are the ones who are using them? They usually tend to have blink and the damn scroll21() javascripts, too...talk about taste. Ughhh I hate those bloody pages.

It sucks. I used to have a frame on my page until two things happened:

1. My friend told me that the first thing he does after he logs onto my page is to press "No Frames" to delete it
2. I got so sick and tired of the frame on my page when I tried to surf from my own page that I ACTUALLY GOT SICK AND TIRED OF MY OWN PAGE until I finally killed it

Frames suck, it bothers me, I can't properly bookmark anything when it's around, it's really retarded and lame. It's bad news, so don't put it on your webpage because it's liable to piss off your visitors.

The only good thing about frames is that
(at least for now) you can always go straight
to the 'no frames' option. My fear is that
someday our godgiven rights to a
frameless environment will be infringed upon
by overzealous gadget dweebs who will, in
increasing numbers, take that option away ...

I don't know about everybody else, but I'm highly claustrophobic. Frames freak me out. They make me feel like somebody's locked me in a transparent cube with a bunch of gray edges criss-crossing before my eyes, full of little arrows and moving squares--a device to slowly drive me insane with terror until I drool mindlessly all over myself and sing Barney songs with passionate joy. I hate frames.

I had to put a "break free from frames" code on my page because the thoughts of having my page viewed from within a frame environment totally freaked me out!!! I'm totally glad to have found the I Hate Frames Club and will proudly display the .gif on my page..thanks!

Frames are aesthetically annoying and also problematic when trying to print stuff. I tried printing a cool picture from the Split Enz site (one of my favorite groups). But when I try to print the picture, all that kept printing was the index page. I couldn't print one of the smaller side frames. The site is cool, but the frames are really annoying.
