Frames are the root of all homepage evil.. next to animated icons. They splice my page into tiny little pieces just so I can't see what's going on in _any_ of the sections.. and I end up following links and never knowing where I end up because *ta da* it's in a stupid frame!!!

1. I don't have access to a viewer that is frames enabled. 2. They look ungodly ugly on some pages I've seen through Netscape.

Frames really byte! The Bozo's that use frames have reduced my 17 inch monitor to a two inch viewing window. Cyber-death to the framemakers!

FRAMES SUCK! Whoever created the idea of frames should be forced to use frames only on a monitor with a screen smaller than 18 inches! If I ever meet who created them, things, bad things will happen.

Frames can be a good feature, *if* they're well done and the designers take into account that everybody visting their site doesn't have a 17" monitor and 1024x768 resolution.

It stinks, and I hate it cause its uggly and my eyes go spinning cause a lot obiously do not know how to create userfriendly frames. I love too much graphics but thats another club....I have too much myself, and I love that, cause if people have the time to browse pages with stupid frames, they have time to wait for the graphics too. hehe buuuuuH

I like when there is lots of frames. Preferrably more than 25 frames/second. But hey, that's on TV. That's where the line should be drawn, keep those darn frames out of my browser! SOB!

I hate them because you can follow links forward from within frames, but when you press the "Back" button (which I almost ALWAYS do eventually, it's just habit) it throws me out of the site completely - and once out, I usually stay out - there are many other more browser-friendly sites around! The people who still put frames on their pages and think they are the greatest thing since sliced bread are like the people who went to parties in the early 80's wearing polyester and bell-bottoms, not realizing that disco had quickly died. Frames were cool for about ten seconds, until you actually tried to navigate around in them - then they became a royal pain in the ... As for the inventor of frames, may he be accorded the same honor as the inventors of the "hold" button, the parking meter, the police radar gun and other dubious inventions...

Frames are actually a big joke on stupid corporate clients by mercenary web designers who really know better. Some day all corporate sites will be rendered completely useless and non-functional by frames while those of use who produce ACTUAL CONTENT will own the web. HAHAHAHA! Anyone who uses frames on their own personal pages is really just wanking. (look at me! I know how to do FRAMES! isn't that *special*?)

I had wondered what all the excitement was about. I got my Netscape upgrade and discovered that frames was an new "technology" designed to sell web browsers to people who wanted see sights that demonstrated that frames was a completly useless application.

happypuppy.com is my favorite place on the web, but about two weeks ago they started using frames. It ruined the best site on the web!!! The frame they put in is a BILLBOARD!!! As if the world needed of of um. And to make it even worse it keeps changing ads as your on the site so its constantly refreshing. We should get a petition going to save this irreplacable site. I've searched far and wide for an equal or better site, but I always find nothing :(

Frames....absolute work of the devil. Many thought that blink was the only child of Satan, but Netscape has unveiled yet another demon spawn. With the already limited viewing area many of us have on our desktops, Frames only contribute to decreasing valuable screen real estate. If you're going to use Frames, please don't.......THEY SUCK!!

there is little to add to the volumes of reasoned dissertions i have read on this site. suffice it to say the day they invented frames, good web design took a flying leap out the window. if only the perpetrators of this bandwidth hogging, screen destroying, link ruining, pain in the butt design style.... oooh never mind. i've forgotten what i was going to say, i'm so upset... and this stupid box doesn't have word wrap and i'm not going to bother going back to the start. long live the down with frames club!

There are still some of us who use 14" monitors instead of 21". A little for framers.

Netscape has an nice "Autoload images" that I always desactivate and so save a lot of time. I then click on the images that I really want to see. (My computer offers me the wide range of...16 colours...) For sure, advertizers don't appreciate that. But with frames, the images come in. And lots of frame pages just flush my "history". I hate them. Thank you to you, site designers who first give us a chance to choose a no frame version.
